The twelve days of Christmas
The twelve days of Christmas (Twelve-tide) are the twelve days that separate Christmas day on December 25th from Epiphany, which is celebrated on January 6th. Many people think that these are the twelve days before Christmas while in most of the Western Church these are in fact the twelve days from Christmas (not including Christmas) until the beginning of Epiphany.
