Also i don't think latvians are shopping industriously for presents. They are putting lots of attention &#38; soul. 
Crazy shopping i saw in London. 
Almost same for Italy.

Missing mentioning celebrations of 4 Adventa. (Putting one candle each Adventa.)

I am not Latvian, but i love Latvian Christmas more than any other!!!

I am Latvian.I dont know any family in Latvia who has this tradition...by the way I have seen all kind of times in Latvia...and never anybody has had so much money to buy so many gifts...
But you should be ready to read poem before you will receive your gifts.</description>
